Nashville-owned East Bank land developer Fallon Company hires chief exec ahead of projects

Metro’s East Bank development partner announced a change to its executive team this week with the addition of a chief development officer who will oversee the company’s large-scale development projects, like the one in Nashville.

Shawn Seaman will bring 20 years of real estate development experience to the role, including serving as project director for The Wharf development in Washington, D.C., which cost $2.5 billion and took more than a decade from start to finish. He will be based in Nashville. The timeline and scale of that could eventually be compared to The Fallon Company’s efforts on Nashville’s East Bank if development goes as planned.
